Block of the Month

This is my 2nd year od being part of a block of the month (BOM) group. Last year I attended the Pincushion http://www.sweettreat.com in Davis CA and this year I am just starting at Beehive Quilts http://www.beehivequilts.com Woodland CA. The best part about the BOM is the instructor Diane Steele. Check out her blog http://www.dianesteelequilts.blogspot.com She is totally fun and really makes learning fun. This years BOM is a Christmas Theme. The deal is that you pay $5.00 up front and if you finish the block by the next meeting you get the nextmoths free. Each month there is also a bonus block for $5.00 so in the end you will have 20 blocks if you create them all. Diane is totally into "Mystery" quilts. She gives us the directions and fabric by leaves 1 fabric out so that we can choose from our "stash". As I complete them I will be posting them here to show the web world.

The start of my blog

Well after many reminders if "Hey how's that Blog going?" I am going to start by writting things at least once a week. It will be fun to share my interests and fun adventures with everyone.
