It's a BOY!!

We had a wonderful baby boy on June 11,2011.  6;b 13 oz, 19 inches long. I am learning so much and love being Baby Allen's mom.  I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to learn and grow with Allen and Brian.

Week 36 excitement

I just thought I would share after my doctor's appointment yesterday. So my blood pressure is a bit high 143/90, they did it 3 times and was basically the same. They had me go and get blood drawn and are having me collect my urine for 24 hours because my protein is a bit high too. Starting this Friday I am supposed to go to Mercy and have my blood drawn and a fetal monitor two times a week, most likely Tues. and Friday. I will be seeing my regular doctor Dr. Huiga next Tues. and my lab work should be back so hopefully things will be back to normal and some of this stuff will relax.

Baby is no facing down so the bumb is under my right breast area and feet under on the left side. Heart rate 130 beats per min. She said that I have a healthy big baby which is good to hear. It was funny, she asked me how big Brian was when he was born 7.5 lbs and me 8lbs 9oz. Her comment was this baby inherited your genes.

I am really excited about the decorations and the room.  I was able to make all the linens and will be creating curtains this week.  Next week I hope to start painting a Never Land mural along the ceiling of old school Peter Pan, flower fairies and pirates.  When I am done I will add the photos.

Only 7 weeks to go

Can't believe it... It is May 9th and I am getting closer to having this little kid.  Our house looks really pretty, new floors, new paint, and baseboards.  The babies room is the most put together and look so cute.  I need to figure out how to upload photos to this blog so that I can share them with you. 

I have been feel good except for my heartburn about 2 hours after I eat and my feet are starting to swell, which is a major pain.  My hair looks good and so does my skin though. 

I'm 22 weeks now

Amazing to think that I am now 22 weeks along.  My body has been feeling pretty good but I seem to be having a lot of problems with teh breathing things still.  I got sick last week with a fever and everything again.  Ended getting a chest cold and breathing wan't going well.  I ended up being sent to a specialist and they tested me for breathing.  I was at 40% of my oxegyn intake, not good.  I was put onto a breathing treatment every 4 hours until Tues.  Man did my ribs hurt from all the coughing and lack of air.  I went back on Tues. and it looks like I am doing much better but am still on some inhalers.  I hate taking all the medication but it is hard not to breath.  I go back in 3 weeks and hopefully things will be even better. 

Feeling Better

So last year I did Acupuncture all winter and my breathing problem was totally under control plus I really enjoyed my treatments at Accredited Acupuncture. www.accredited-acupuncture.com So funds have been much tighter this year and during the month of December I had 7 craft shows which took up most of my life.  I really enjoyed being part of the Victorian Christmas in Nevada City and hope to figure out a way that I might be able to do that again next year even with a baby.  New Years Day I took myself to the emergency room and ended having to have a breathing treatment and then got some new medication, YUCK!!! I hate to take all that stuff especially now that I will be having a baby.  Well to make the story short I met with my regular doctor and the took an allergy test and guess what all I am allergic to?  Here is the list the number is how strong it is 0 least 5 highest:

Well living in Sacramento I am surrounded by lots of these plants and trees but it isn't going to stop me from going outside and living that is for sure.  The biggest thing that I have control of and Brian and I are working on getting the dust down in the house seeing how 5 points are total in that area.  Brian sure hates to clean but is getting better thank goodness. 

2011 Is Here

Well I am amazed to say the least that 2011 is a number that I need to write on things. It seems sort of strange. I remember as a kid that the year 2000 was really far away. This year is going to be very eventful in my life and I thought I would like to share it with the rest of you. Biggest adventure in my life....I am going to have my 1st kid. This being pregnant is all very new and interesting to me. I am currently starting my 16th week and yesterday I was able to hear the heartbeat, Very Exciting.
